Blog v Wiki

Blog is a personal channel where you can share your thoughts, feelings and experience. In blogs you don’t need to follow any standards, you can be yourself. Blogs have many positive sides and one of them is that you can find people that are interested or have experienced the same as bloggers did. One of the examples would be an article “Brooklyn Blog Helps Lead to Drug Raid” by Michael Wilson, which is showing a  connection and an impact by blogs to our society, where people who are just sharing the area of living can help to stop a spread of narcotic substances. Another place where people can contribute to society by sharing things they like and working on it together would be Wiki. Wiki is online content where people collaborate with each other by voluntarily working together, it is the Web-based user created encyclopedia. It also helps to improve your own knowledge like it is said in an article “What Motivates Wikipedians” by Oded Nov “Through volunteering, individuals may have an opportunity to learn new things and exercise their knowledge, skills, and abilities.”
